gWork-related
health risks: Research and company practice |
|
Report
of the working group on work-related health risks |
|
In
the period 2000-2001, the group conducted a survey of 15 national
OSH-research institutes on the subject of prevention of work-related
health risks. The survey focused on problems and deficits in the field
of in-company prevention as well as methods and approaches with which to
solve those problems.
The findings show that the situation in the various countries differs
significantly.

gResearch
concepts in the field of occupational health and safety. Proposals for
the planning and implementation of research and the valorisation of
results |
| Report
of the working group on research policies |
Research policies vary considerably in occupational risk prevention. On
this basis, a working group has been set up to take stock of the different
approaches to research and to develop recommendations seen to optimise
the effectiveness of research on risk prevention.
This brochure gives an account of the International workshop held on this
subject, including a summary of the debates centered on three main themes:
research programming; planning execution and follow-up of research; promotion
and assessment of research results. |

| Data
base |
|
So as to facilitate contacts between researchers and prevention practitioners,
the Section constantly compiles information from organisations actively
engaged in occupational risk prevention research. The information collected
is fed into a bilingual, English-French data base INOR which will soon
be accessible via the INRS Website. The data base intends to be a "Who's
who" in the field of prevention (description of organisations and
their activities - address, legal status, contact persons, number of staff,
aims, publications, etc). |
